Bank Balance Fluctuates Constantly

Hi — my balance (connected to my bank) is fluctuating constantly, regardless of any new charges or pending charges cleared. Is there a way for me to disconnect and just update manually, like balancing a checkbook? I'd like to reconcile the balance but I can't figure out how to do that. Otherwise, it's inaccurate and not helpful. Thanks.
