Wipe Out of Hundreds of Payee Names
I see entries for payee rule rogue actions and the loss of hundreds of payee names beginning almost three years ago, April 2001. Yet no solution, no disable and no warning. Given the potential of huge losses this is unconscionable. Based on comments here there is no fix, only wipe out data and start from the beginning. I was very optimistic that this was a good product and solution. However, none of these things are true. Watch out!

Yes, we've had other users who have expressed the same concerns. We have an Idea post available here requesting that the "also set for existing transactions" checkbox when creating Transaction Rules be unchecked by default:
If you're referring to the Transaction Rule prompts that result from making changes to a transaction on the Quicken Simplifi Web App, these can be disabled by following the steps here:
If this happened on the Quicken Simplifi Mobile App when making changes to a transaction, you can disable this by following the steps here:
We apologize for your experience with this behavior and hope you find this information helpful!
