How do I get Simplifi to stop categorizing until I get set up?

New to Simplifi - Former Mint User. I didn't realize that Simplifi would just "take off" and categorize everything before I get a chance to set up the categories I want to use. Can I get it to stop doing that until I can get categories set up?

I do not think you can stop some of the automation out of the box. However, your new transactions come down as not reviewed. When you categorize something as you need, mark it as reviewed. Focus then on fixing the not reviewed transactions. That is how I keep transactions I want to review straight.

Create a Payee Naming Rule in settings and then make it default to “Uncategorized.”
