Considering Signing up with Simplifi, but need some of these questions answered
Hi i am a long time user of Quicken. Started in 1996. My most recent version is Quicken Deluxe 2013 which i purchased on Amazon. This version meets all my needs. I live in the Caribbean, so our banks are not linked to Quicken for automatic updates. My questions
- Will my existing history be transferable to simplifi?
- What function from Deluxe 2013 is not available for simplifi?
- Will i have any problems using on an Android device?
Thanks

- NO, at this time, so far as I know, there is no way to pull in 'quicken classic' data
- It's not the same product, it's very different. Among other things, everything is online and requires an internet connection with Quicken Simplifi. As such, a subscription is required, you don't own "software".
- There is an Android app that works well for Quicken Simplifi, but I cannot guarantee you will have no problems. It's definitely better for the mobile app (android) than Quicken Classic was with the old Quicken Companion app.

Importing bank data is possible via csv but you need to make sure the data conforms to Simplifi's format. There is a template for this. You cannot currently use any of the Quicken formats.

@VanB, thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community!
It looks like you're well covered here with answers from other users, so I just wanted to share some resources. The first link below is an Idea post that you can follow for updates or check back in at a later time, as our product team is considering the ability to transfer data from Quicken Classic.
I hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick feedback everyone. If my history cannot be transferred to Simplifi, then this is not an option that i can consider

As @RobWilk said, Simplifi is a very different app from Quicken Classic. You would need to save your Quicken data as a csv file then use the Simplifi csv template to formate your data to import into Simplifi. But the Simplifi experience is not at all like the Q Classic experience especially since you’re using a version of Quicken that is 10 years old.
