High Level Categories for Accounts (edited)

Is there a way to customize the high level categories? For instance, I'd prefer to see "Cash and Checking" and "Savings" together instead of as separate categories since they both are cash and are both just as liquid. Any way to do this or can it be a suggestion for future?

If you are talking about account categories, the idea to customize those already exists. We can customize the account type and you can make your savings account a cash & checking account if you want.

@Michaelbg76 Go to Settings → Accounts and click the three dots to the right of the account you want to edit. You can change the account type there, which will determine where the account is displayed in the account list.
