A type of savings goal where I can go negative and pay myself back to reach $0
For certain transactions, I pretend I have my own 0% credit card and I'll pay myself back over the next 12 months or so. Would be great to have savings goal like that, where the value is negative, and I'm saving to get back to $0.
Would be even better if the savings goals could go positive value and negative value. For example, I set aside a little bit of money each month for my children's birthday parties. My first kid's party is in March and I'm spending money I haven't saved yet, but I know I'll have paid myself back over the course of the year. So for the first few months I have a positive value, once March comes, my savings goal has gone negative. For the remainder of the year, I'll be negative till the end of the year when I'll have paid everything back to myself.
