Meta Report

I'd like to see a meta report included. I'm thinking of one based on tags and categories but there are other possibilities.

For instance. I have tags that mark transactions as Discretionary or Non-discretionary. I have categories of Alcohol, Dining Out, Entertainment, and Groceries (not all of my groceries are necessarily non-discretionary)

It would provide some insight into my finances if I could run a report that said:

For transactions tagged "Discretionary"
What is the total sum of
- Alcohol
- Dining Out
- Groceries

Assuming, of course, that I'm sober enough to understand it 😉

Gets my vote. I don't have an immediate use for this, but i would probably use tags more if they were more useful for reporting like this,.

I upvoted this. In the meantime, a watchlist in the web app does something similar but for only the rolling 12 months. The reports will allow custom date ranges.

Below is an example of my watchlist for the vacation tag with a breakdown by category.
