Mobile App: Show the day of the week on the date picker calendar for transactions (edited)

Currently in the Android app, when editing a transaction and changing the date, you only get the minimal date picker (the slot machine looking one), which doesn't show the day of the week. Most of the time when I'm updating dates, the day of the week is the context I need.

Ask: please use the full date picker (whiach shows the calendar) instead of the rotating wheel / number only UI element.

    It looks like we have an old Idea post for something like this, but it was archived due to inactivity. With that, I have gone ahead and turned this into a new Idea post requesting that the day of the week be added to the date picker calendar for transactions so other users can vote on it.

    As an iPhone user, I would also like the day of the week added to the current date picker and/or a calendar view option. When updating or confirming transaction dates, the day of the week is essential context. I find that I wait until I'm on web to review transactions but would prefer to be able to do that in app as easily!

    I agree, and think if it were possible to pull up a whole month-at-a-time calendar (even full screen) where you can pick the date and see the day of the week it would be helpful. This is not critical for me, but it would be nice.
