Duplicate and Triplicate Investment Transactions
I just started looking at my investment transactions downloaded from Fidelity and noticing duplicate and sometimes triplicate transactions. This seems to happen after editing and categorizing transactions. Many of the transactions are downloaded as uncategorized so I’m trying to categorize them (many are dividends) to help the accuracy of the performance calculations on the brokerage account.
I’ve seen another post on this topic from last year but it is closed.

I have noticed this also after editing investment transactions. It seems to happen when I change the type field.

This sounded familiar to me, so I found the original thread where we reported this issue:
It sounds like this is an issue that they're aware of and working on, but we don't have a way to track it from the front end, so we are just advising users that it can be expected to improve in the future. In the meantime, feel free to leave your feedback here for our product team to review:

Yes, this will happen after you edit the transactions. You just have to keep deleting the redundant ones. It stops in a few days. Keep reporting it to Support via "See anything unexpected?".
