Can savings goal contributions come from brokerage accounts?
I think it's a real inconvenience to contribute $'s from a checking account into brokerage account, reducing the checking balance. Then in Simplifli manually "contribute" to the same savings goal, thereby reducing the checking account again by the very same amount. This quickly depletes cash in an erroneous method.
How can this be resolved?
Ex. I have $200 in my checking account and transfer $100 from checking to a brokerage account. New checking balance $100. I login to Simplifi to "contribute" to the same "Brokerage" savings goal I created, and my Simplifli check balance which was $100 now is reduced $0. A duplicate.

Unfortunately, savings goals can only be done from banking accounts. There is an open feature request to contribute to savings goals from brokerage accounts.
The request is being reviewed and has over 180 votes.
