Any update on transaction splits not appearing in reports according to their split categories?

The discussion on this topic is closed, so I've asked this question. I'm new to Simplifi and am enjoying using it, but transaction splits do not appear in reports according to the split category. As others have commented, Mint did this well (RIP). I could create multiple manual transactions to handle the splits, but it would be so convenient if Simplifi did this automatically. Thank you!
