Planned Spending not pulling in subcategories (edited)
I have set up multiple expenses in the "Planned spending" section of my spending plan. One is for example "Auto & Transport" (which is one of the default Simplif options) and then all expenses that are categorized as the main "Auto & Transport" category or those expense that are sub-categories (e.g., Service &Parts or Gas & Fuel) are automatically added to this expense category.
However, this does not seem to work for the "Shopping" expense category (also a Simplif default). I found that only items that are categorized as "Shopping" (the parent category) ended up in that bucket. Expenses that are categorized as "Electronics & Software" (a sub-category of "Shopping") are moved into "Other Spending". How can I fix this? I want all items that are categorized as "Shopping" (including sub-categories) go into the Planned Spending section.

I had this happen before. Delete the auto & transport and shopping planned spending tiles and recreate them. This should fix the issue.

There's another discussion about this very same issue. Hopefully it's fixed soon.
In the meantime, I can confirm Ursula's suggestion to delete and recreate the planned spending category is a valid workaround.
