I received a notification that my "available to spend is low". I'm transitioning between jobs, so income vs. expected spend might be low, but this clearly isn't considering cash on hand (shows on the dashboard) which is several months worth of expenses, making the notification alarming and false.

You have to keep in mind that the "Available to spend" in the Spending Plan is based on income and expenses for the current month only. Another thing to keep in mind is that the "Available to spend" is the amount you have available AFTER all your expected recurring and planned expenses. The available also doesn't reflect any of the unspent funds set aside in your Planned Spendin categories.

If I were in your situation, I would turn off the available to spend notification. Your information is not complete/relevant to create a correct notification. You can always turn the notifications back on when your available to spend amount is accurate.
