does quicken simplifi offer a way to identify subscriptions

Id like to detect subscriptions that im unaware of.

    Do you mean an automatic detection of subscription? Not a feature of Simplifi. Recurring payments can be manually tagged as a bill or subscription.

    When at Settings > Recurring Series, you have these options…

    This determines how they will show up in your Spending Plan which helps you know how much specifically is going towards subscriptions. Like @Marcus said, this is completely dependent on you - not automatic.
