Don't force Linked Transfer Transactions to have the same date (edited)
I have two matching transfer transactions. The opening transaction of sending the money from one account is on March 14. The other account doesn't receive the money until March 18. If I link these transfers I am forced to have both of them show the same date, either March 14 or 18, which is incorrect.

I am seeing the same behavior in Quicken Simplifi, and it certainly seems new to me; I don't recall Linked Transfers ever being forced to assume the same date, but I can't even manually change the date on one of them now without it changing the date on the other. With that, I got this issue escalated and will post back here with updates.

Our product team is currently reviewing how they'd like to approach this and what the design should be. To assist in the process, I have turned this into an Idea post instead of a Bug Report so other users can vote on it and we can hopefully hear some additional use cases.

Can this get turned back into a bug? Posted date should be treated as fact, not flexible and changed unbeknownst to the user. If the user wants to group them by changing the date, they can do it manually.
