Jumping on this too, Quicken user since around 1991 and switching to Simplifi now that I'm old/near retirement and my needs are different and a bit simpler.. this is really needed in my opinion if the goal is the ultimately retire classic.

Please add this “sticky” filter feature so I can save my custom reports. Having to filter my reports every time is very inefficient.

  • +1 for this feature.

We're moving to this from Quicken Classic, and we sorely missed saved reports. It would be great to have the report page default to what you already see, but have an option to save and filters to saved reports and then select those reports from a dropdown. You should also be able to export those reports like you could in Quicken.

@Coach Natalie do you have an update from the product team on this? Know there’s a lot of stuff to work on, but would be helpful to know if this is on the way. Would certainly save me a bit on time in excel if this functionality was native to Simplifi.

Since this feature has been "submitted to the product team for review" has it been assigned a priority?

@Coach Natalie Can the report filters at least be added in the url query parameters so that we can bookmark the links? This would let us have our custom reports that we can save in the browser without the engineering team needing to support storing custom reports.

  • I agree - we need the ability to bookmark or save custom set reports so you don't need to fill in the filters each time. Particularly vital if you have lots of accounts.

  • +1 for saved reports. Essential!

  • Like the ability to save at a minimum recurring filters as a report. That way when I want to review a specific trend (vacation spending, utilities by specific vendors, contributions) I can set up all the filters just once an then recall that information.

  • I agree, my vote for functionality to save reports should be available

Another vote for saved reports. Having to set up the filters each time is really a waste of time. This is an essential feature.

  • Add functionality for this please!

This is still needed, and frankly if it doesn't happen I'm cancelling. Too many very basic things missing. This is one.

Lel an AI engine write the code to save reports like ChapGPT, this is critical to our efficiency when I have 30+ accounts to filter for.

Expose it through the URL is all you need. I can save my own URLs you don't need to save it on your end.

This is a basic feature +1

Saving report featur will be very helpful

  • The inability to do simple things like this are what will determine whether I will renew. I don't mind paid subscriptions but I need to get the most value for it. As a previous commenter noted, at least let the URL reflect the filter so we can bookmark it.

    +1 to saving reports.

  • Any update on this request please ? Just for this feature considering the other products on the market.

@ksrajesh007 I'm not Quicken, but reading the first page, it's only been submitted for review. They seemingly have not decided whether to add this yet.

please please please! I've already made several mistakes trying to reconstruct reports with certain accounts and categories… it's kind of a bummer.. Simplifi is really awesome but this is pretty necessary for anyone acutely aware of their finances vs just using an electronic register…

Been using quicken since circa 1990 on a Sperry 286…. I love Simplifi (spending much, much less time managing things) but this is pretty basic

I would also ask that when looking at upvotes… use some common sense to interpret things. The request to change transaction splits into individual transactions has tons of upvotes… but is a really bad idea that I can imagine would be a horror show to implement, with tons of side-effects (been doing software design / dev for 30 years…). Whereas this request will help bring along TONS of legacy quicken users (and prevent loss of acquired customers) and is extremely focused/isolated (save and restore filter configs). I would expect my teams to churn this out in 1 sprint.

    please please please!

Missing this feature is really starting to bug me. I can't even change between reports without losing the filter (e.g. switching from Income to Expense reports to look back at the last year).

There are many good suggestions in other comments, and the ability to bookmark/save reports for future use would be the ideal end goal, but if judging by the lack of progress in more than 4 years that it's a more extensive feature than it seems, could you at least make it not loose the selections as soon as you click away from a report? That seems like it could be a relatively quick win to give a good improvement over what exists.
