Categorize a whole card!

I have an "allowance" card. It gets 50 dollars out of every paycheck. I do not care what I spend that 50 on. I don't want it in my budget tbh. Id I could just categorize that card as "allowance" and have it in it's own section of my spending plan that would be ideal.

@Pixels, thanks for posting to the Community!

I went ahead and moved this out of Feature Requests, as it sounds like this may already be available in Quicken Simplifi and I wanted to do some coaching. First, you can create a Category for "Allowance" and make it an Expense Category: https://help.simplifimoney.com/en/articles/4378958-managing-categories-and-subcategories

You can then create a Planned Spending expense for this Category, and assign any transactions that take place to the Category. This would allow you to use a broad Category for the spending as opposed to itemizing, and allow the spending to properly reflect in the Spending Plan. I personally do this with a Category I call "Extras".

Let us know how this works for you!
