Poll question? mobile or web app? Which one do you use more?

Which app do you use ? Web more or mobile more.

The reason I am asking. I use more mobile app than web. I rarely use web for my use cases.
I was wondering how other users feel?

Also if more users are mobile first users, I would recommend Simplifi dev team moving to mobile first as well. The reason I say this is because I see new features typically rolled out in web and then mobile.

Please share your thoughts. No wrong answers. 🙂

I rarely use the mobile app. For me, it's so difficult to accomplish tasks using such a small screen.

I also run a small side business and am a computer programmer, so therefore am on the computer all the time.

I use web more, but I enter transactions on mobile (when I buy something other than on the web).

Mainly the web app. Mobile app is convenient when I'm out and about, but the web is my go-to app.

Yes, web mostly for me too. I export to Excel and prefer working with a larger screen.

99% web for me! The app I just use to see the transaction and rarely categorize them correctly when I don't have access to a computer. But I would like the app to show the info in a better way, as the fields are very small there, and usually do not show full info.

Like most responses here, I used Web App 98% of the time. I use the iPhone App when I am away from home or just to check something. But it is much easier to see on the computer. When away from home I use the iPhone app on my iPad* because the Web App doesn't display correctly. Sigh. :)

*I have an older 9.7" iPad. Maybe the web app does better on the newer ones.

I'm at about 60% web and 40% mobile. Entering receipts is WAY more efficient on mobile and it's easier to check things on the fly. However, I like that there is more functionality on web - by and large. Once, as a personal challenge, I intentionally did ALL my weekly data entry (entering receipts, reconciling statements, entering bills in Spending Plan, etc.) using the mobile app. It was a good learning experience and I found that in a pinch, it was certainly possible. It's just a lot more efficient to do it like I currently do it with the laptop setting on the desk and my tablet and phone setting next to it. I enter receipts, add categories, and do splits on my phone and then refresh on web to do other stuff. I find I go back and forth a lot and everything stays well synced!

Make the app more compatible with an iPad. I always put the iPad in the portrait position. I’d rather have it in the landscape position.

I prefer the web app to the mobile app because I'm just more comfortable using a computer. Since I manage a lot of accounts manually, it's more convenient to have a real keyboard, since I can type significantly faster than I can fight the aggressively incorrect autocorrect on my phone.
