As far as I understand, you can't.

(I checked, and I had already voted for that one; please add your vote. In Quicken Classic, I believe you could reopen closed accounts, and it would be nice if this allowed it too.)

Honest question: I'm trying to think of a situation where I would reopen a closed account. Can anyone give me an example of when and why this would be done?

It could be something as simple as an accidental click or tap which closed the account (though there may be confirmation dialogues to minimize that).
I believe I've closed MANUAL accounts I thought i was done with (for example, hospital bills), only to have other related expenses from the same account cause me to want to reopen it.
It could also be that i wanted to temporarily hide an account (closing is the only way to hide) and now i want to un-hide it.
These may not be perfect answers, but they're what i'm coming up with right now.

I would be good with the ability to toggle the visibility of an account. For example I have a credit card that I don't use, and probably won't for a couple years, but I may never use it again, I'm not sure. For now I don't want to see the clutter of it in my transactions list. I did accidentally mark this account as closed, not knowing it couldn't be un-closed.

O would suggest deleting the account and then reconnecting to the bank the account is held at.

Yes, deleting the account would mean losing the history of that account. I'm just doing some freethinking about how to work around the current closed accounts can't be reopened "restriction."
Perhaps making the closed account manual (if closing it doesn't already do that) then reconnect to the bank and set up once closed account as a new account in Simplifi? Then do an import of the history from the bank for as far back as the bank will allow?
