Changes to Pending transactions are lost after they clear
I have seen this multiple times.
In the last case I added a note to a pending transaction and after it clears the note is gone.
Makes me wonder if some primary keys are changed when transactions clear, possibly orphaning related data in the database.

Based on your description, this behavior may be occurring due to how Quicken Simplifi aggregates transactional data from your bank. With some banks, a new "version" of the transaction is downloaded each day while it's pending, and then a final cleared version takes place, which can overwrite manual changes. To better understand the issue, what bank do you see this behavior with? Or do you see it with multiple banks?

I see this a lot with Capital One, but not really any of my other banks. Assumed this is what was going on and not really anything Simplifi can do if the bank lets the pending hold die and sends out an entirely new transaction when it clears.
