MFA Issue with Forbright bank
I'm trying to connect my account at Forbright Bank to my Simplifi and I'm running into an issue where after I log in it asks me to choose how I would like to receive my MFA code, however all of the phone number options available are not associated with my account. It give me 3 different phone number options that I don't know. I've double checked my Forbright account and there is only 1 number set up for MFA. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Hello @pcplatz,
Thanks for reaching out! Quicken Simplifi does not provide the MFA information. That would be received from the bank itself. Have you verified that you are using the correct instance in Quicken Simplifi, or reached out to the bank to see why these numbers would be showing up?
Thanks,
Coach Jon

I've tried the first and the 3rd instance with the same result but I'll reach out to the bank and see if they can assist. Thanks!

Hi Coach Jon,
I think I found the issue. There are actually several different log in pages for this bank depending on the account type.
I'll submit a request to get the savings and CD accounts added.
Thanks.

Hello @pcplatz,
Thanks for the information! When you reached out to the bank were they able to confirm the correct MFA information, and what instance you should be using in Quicken Simplifi? Since those accounts fall under personal Banking based on the screenshot you provided, I would think that the first instance in Quicken Simplifi would work for you.
Thanks,
Coach Jon

I'm seeing the exact same issue in Simplifi, @Coach Jon. I also have a Forbright High Yield Savings account I'm trying to link. Within Simplifi I select Forbright Bank - Pers Web and successfully log in with my Forbright credentials. But then the MFA shows 5 different phone numbers, none of which are my one phone number associated with my Forbright account. I tried the other two Forbright instances that appear in Simplifi too with the exact same results every time.

Hello @cedarmesa,
Thank you for reaching out! Have you already had this account connected in Quicken SImplifi before, or are you trying to connect it for the first time?
Additionally, you may also try temporarily disabling your MFA on the bank's website to see if it allows you to connect in Quicken Simplifi.
Let us know!

Thanks! I just spoke to the bank; they said they are not compatible with Simplifi yet. she emphasized yet. :-)

Hello @cedarmesa,
Thanks for the reply. Did they mention what specifically was not compatible? I do see several instances for Forbright Bank in Quicken Simplifi.
Thanks,
Coach Jon

I compared it with the free trial of Monarch and they are using Plaid for the connection. That worked well for Forbright Bank if Quicken Simplifi folks wanted to add that as an option.
I haven't gotten any replies from the bank, so maybe something can be done on this end.

Yes, it is the same problem as the others described. There is a long list of numbers to choose from for MFA, and none of them are mine.

I just got off the phone with Forbright re: another issue. They are well aware of the quicken integration issue. The Growth HYSA is a new product and they know that Quicken is not recognizing the new product.
Those phone numbers that show up at 2FA? Those are the bank's phone numbers! :)
All that being said, for an internet-based account, I was on hold for only 15 minutes and the person was very helpful.
