Bank updates in the background now?

i noticed today that Quicken Simplifi updated my bank accounts at 3:41am. It emailed me about a bill being paid at that time. I was sound asleep at that time. Not complaining, but is this new?

I got an email about a bill two days ago but my accounts did not update in the background. Now they update each time I open the app, so that issue is fixed.
