Did Wells Fargo & Simplifi Problems Cause You To Split With WF?

Did any of you Simplifi users give up on Wells Fargo Bank like me and my wife? We were customers of WF for 20+ years and we liked them a lot, but after all the connection issues we had in Quicken, and now on Simplifi, we couldn't stand it any longer. We changed to SoFi bank, and it's the best financial decision we have ever made. SoFi works seamlessly with Simplifi, and it's transaction updates are almost instant.

I'm in the process of making a banking switch from WF to another bank. Once we start receiving deposits into the new bank accounts I'll finish making the transition.

Curious about how the transition went for you.

What steps did you take?
Did you run into any issues with making sure any auto pays connected to your WF accounts were converted over.
Any issues closing your WF accounts and transferring any remaining funds to the new bank?

Like you, we've been long time customers of WF - 40+ years! if you can believe it.

While I'm not with WF anymore - I was before Simplifi - I do really appreciate your decision to switch. For me, at this point, I'm much, much more loyal to Simplifi than I am with any specific bank so - personally - I'd go with whichever bank account syncs best with Simplifi. For me, I don't have the time to keep up a manual bank account in Simplifi if i can just switch banks to another that's reasonably present in my area. Obviously, this isn't for everyone, but it does make your life soooo much easier in Simplifi when all your banks sync reliably.

I believe Quicken and Simplifi use the same bank sync technology, so the switch would not of made any dif.. that said, I hate evil WF.
