How to delete duplicate account
My wife got a new Chase credit card so I went to add it to Simplifi. I must have also checked the box for our checking account with the result that we know have two checking accounts listed (see screenshot) with identical amounts and what looks like identical transaction histories going back to July 2023 when we started with Simplfi.
I already this article by Coach Natalie about deleteing duplicate accounts
but I since both accounts appear to be the same, I am concerned that deleting one will delete the other. I also can't tell which is the new one, though they will have different login credentials with Chase (but there doesn't appear to be a way to see the login userid in Simplifi).
Please advise.
Weirdly, Simplifi does not show the new credit card though if I go back into the Add Account screen it says that Chase is sharing that data with you.

Thanks for reaching out. No worries, based on the screenshot provided, you only have one account, "CHASE CHECKING", under the Cash & Checking umbrella in your account list. There is no need to delete the account. Cash & Checking is the Account type umbrella in Quicken Simplifi.
