The app incorrectly checked all of my prior income sources to be excluded from reports (edited)
The application or app incorrectly checked all of my prior income sources (other than dividends) to be EXcluded from the Spending plan and Reports.
I noticed it when my monthly income for all prior months were way below what they should have been.

The exclude from: checkmarks automatically got checked for all of my non-dividend income sources.
I suspect it's a bug in new development work that was recently released, within the past week or so.

yes i can and have.
The problem is that the check marks were automatically set going back to all of my original entries, somehow. Programatically, not by me!!!
Why would someone want to EXclude income sources? Kind of defeats the purpose of tracking income and expenses don't it?

This is the detailed flowsheet for a reoccurring transfer, Under Bills & Payments / Transfers / {Select One} / Options / Edit Series
Related Issue
There are now some additional check box options on scheduled re-occurring transfers which confirms (to me at least) that someone has been mucking around in the programming to provide additional flexibility to chose when to EXclude transfers from reporting. Money In / Money Out. Previously, there was only one check box available for each report.
Also, notice the inconsistencies between the two flowsheets for Exclude from: One flowsheet has two possible checkmarks and the other now has four. This inconsistency is propagating through the application on various flowsheets.
It sure would be helpful it Simplifi provided RELEASE NOTES when new features are released along with a brief explaination on the programmed intent / proper use of said features. Otherwise, confusing to say the least!

Hello @Dan6912,
Thanks for the reply. Quicken Simplifi does have a place here in the Community where users can see all release notes as well as few feature alerts. This is located here:
For the issue at hand, I would recommend signing out of the application and signing back in to see if that allows you to uncheck the checkboxes permanently. If this does not work, try using a different browser/incognito mode.Hopefully, this helps going forward!

I can UNcheck them. The issue is/was HOW DID THEY AUTOMATICALLY GET SET IN EVERY INSTANCE IN THE APPLICATION to begin with, when I did not systemically go through the application and set the flags individually?

Everything working correctly except as previously noted.
For sure, new options on flowsheet don't just show up. Someone had to program there.

Hello @Dan6912,
Thanks for the reply. I am glad everything is working correctly as of now. As for your second point, I apologize, but I am unsure what you mean by "new options on flowsheet don't just show up." Can you clarify this for us so we understand?
Thanks,
Coach Jon

The new options on the flowsheet is the ability to check money in / money out for Spending Plan and Reports.
These options just recently began showing up on certain flowsheets. Prior to that time only a single check mark option existed for each, Spending Plan and Reports.
This particular flowsheet is for Recurring Transfers
I hope this helps clarify.
Thanks,

Hello @Dan6912,
I understand what you mean, now. Thank you for your clarification! The change you are referring to came with the release of the Transfers bucket in the Spending Plan, which came out in June of 2023. With this change, users are able to exclude or include just one side of a Linked Transfer from the Spending Plan, which is why you see the "money out" and "money in" checkboxes.
Here is the corresponding request for that ability in case you want to check it out:
Thanks,
Coach Jon
