"Withdrawal" transactions being assigned payee of "WalMart"

I had this problem in the desktop Quicken app also. Anytime I have a transaction from my credit union with the word "Withdrawal" in it, Simpli interprets that as "Wal-Mart". So basically, all of my credit card payments and transfers between accounts. I don't have any rules associated with "Wal-Mart". How can I stop this?

To see the information downloaded from you credit union account into QS click on the 3 dot ellipsis on the right side of the transaciton entry in your credit union register. Select View Transaction and you can see the banks description of the transaction at the to of the View Transaction window.

This might be a place to start troubleshooting the issue.

Are any of your credit union withdrawals recurring payments? I would try creating a Naming rule for the different payment withdrawals that might keep the Wal-Mart rename from happening. (I would also take a look in Settings > Payees & Rules page to make sure there really is nothing there about Wal-Mart even though I was sure such a name rule didn't exist - an old habit from when I was a heavy equipment mechanic - ALWAYS look up the specs no matter how well you know the equipment or how many times you have made the repair.)
