Shouldn't I have the app on my laptop

It seems that I have to access the app through the web-site and not directly from my computer. Do I have to access through the web every time I want to sign in? I cannot find the app on the computer.

Yes, this is a cloud app. There is web access from a desktop or a mobile app.

What OS and web browser do you use, @Rose ?

You can add a the Quicken Simplifi website as an app on your desktop both through Edge and through Chrome.

Edge: open the QS website and sign in. Click on the 3 dot menu top left of browser window. Click on "Apps." Select "Install this site as an app." Another window will open up and you can edit the name and add the site. QS will now appear on your desktop as a blue icon with a Q in the center. You can add the app icon to the task bar, the desktop and your start menu.

You can do the same in Chrome. You will need to do a web search to on how to do this in Chrome.

I don't know if you can do this on in the iOS and the Apple browser.
