TIAA Bank switched to Everbank and recommended re-connecting my account with quicken.

However Everbank is not an option to select currently.

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, this is an issue for me at Simplifi as well. TIAA/EverBank is my primary bank so this renders the product unusable.

    Hello @JCL and @gsong,

Thanks for reaching out! Before we submit any idea posts, we will want to do some troubleshooting to verify specifically what is happening between TIAA and Everbank when it comes to Quicken Simplifi. Have you both tried connecting to TIAA in Quicken Simplifi and is the connection no longer working?

    Thanks,

    Coach Jon

TIAA Bank hasn't worked with Quicken or Simplifi for months, most likely because of the IT transition. When I contacted TIAA Bank to report an issue and asked about Everbank's future support of Quicken/Simplifi, I was told, "No plans to offer Quicken/Simplifi support." Hopefully, they will reconsider. You can add Everbank to Quicken but can't directly download any transactions.

This is an issue for me as well. FWIW…

    1. TIAA has been working just fine without issues until this weekend.

    2. Everbank did notify customers that they would be separating from TIAA and Quicken would be down (although temporarily 🤔)

    3. Simplifi suggested NOT to disconnect your TIAA account (I only found this out after I disconnected my account. 🙄

    4. I couldn't find Everbank in the list of Simplifi accounts.😭

    5. I can't just download a CSV from Everbank and import into TIAA. I'm getting ready to check the format now to see if I have to modify it. 😒

I really hoping that EverBank get's this worked out so Simplifi can just add the account and get things working. Having worked in tech for my entire career, things rarely go as planned. When you have such an issue that is this widespread as the result of a migration, it's usually weeks, if not months, before it's resolved. Perhaps EverBank will surprise us, though I'm not holding my breath.

Ultimately, it's not Simplifi's fault, unless there was a basic oversight on adding EverBank. That's doubtful, as my experience with Simplifi has been pretty solid. I've been using Simplifi for several years now.

    Hello everyone,

Thanks for all the information. To help us understand what specifically is occurring with this connection, can you please share a screenshot showing what happens when trying to connect to TIAA in Quicken Simplifi?

    Thank you,

    Coach Jon

@JCL, @gsong, @IndyMx5, & @Zgh87&ds, after discussing this internally, we need some more info from you all:

    1. What error do you receive with TIAA in Quicken Simplifi?
    2. When did the error begin?
    3. How did you learn from TIAA that they merged with/switched to EverBank? Do you have an email from them or some other form of documentation that you can show us to prove this change and provide more insight into what specifically occurred on their end?

    Thanks so much!

I am having this issue as well. The error between Simplifi and TIAA/Everbank began last weekend 8/10/2024 when TIAA/Everbank mobile banking changed. It appears to be a 106 error. All account holders were notified of the switch through various emails, paper mailings and web announcements.

Here is a link to the page where Everbank is announcing the new online banking:

Everbank is now available to connect and download transactions.

I did need to rename my new accounts, remove the 3 months of duplicate transactions, and the mark the old accounts as closed.

After that — everything looks right.

    Thank you
