Is there a way to see the individual spending for an alternate card? (edited)
Is there a way to see the individual spending for an alternate card for an existing Capital One Credit card? I am assuming it is not an issue only with Capital One but any Credit Card account that has another card under under the owner. Example, I have a card that ends in x1234 and I requested a card for my kid (under my account) and it ends in x4321. When transactions download they are combined into one account.

If its all downloaded as a single list, I dont think there would be. Unless the kid's usage has specific places they spend at then you could filter to just those. Or tag anything you know as your spending you could filter out that tag and see what is left. But thats all manual work on your end, simlifi doesn't seem like it gets the details on a card number to give you anything in an automated way.

Does Capital One make a distinction between your purchases and your child's purchases when you look at your account online? I have several Capital One virtual cards that I use for several online payment accounts so that my actual account number isn't exposed. Capital One doesn't distinguish when a charge is made using a virtual card number so, like @Wedo778 points out, QS has no way to make the distinction.
On the other hand, my wife and I have different numbered cards with Citi that are both connected to the same account. Citi will show whose card is used in the register on their website, but that information isn't part of the downloaded data to QS, so once again QS has no way of separating the data.
I don't know who determines what info is included in the data downloads or if QS has any say in that. But it's worth asking.

@ddbowers, if the transactions are listed under the primary account on the bank's website, they will download that way into Quicken Simplifi. We don't have a way to make additional fields download — we get the Date, Payee, and Amount from the bank.
I'm not sure if it applies to your situation, but here's an Idea post that's pretty popular for similar reasons:
We also have an article that goes over how authorized user accounts are handled with American Express. I know you're seeing the behavior with Capital One, but it sounds very similar, and the article goes over using Tags to distinguish whose card was used so it may be helpful.
I hope this helps!
