Reports showing transactions with "Ignore from reports" flagged

When I run reports I am seeing transactions that have "Ignore from reports" flagged. I can filter these with an advanced filter, but why should I have to? What is the point of "Ignore from reports" if the setting is ignored when running a report?
Thanks
Thanks

I think I see now that these items show up in reports but aren't included in calculations? Is my (new) understanding correct - confusing, but I can work with it...0

Hello @bmeyers,
Thanks for posting your inquiry to the Community!
That is correct -- although ignored transactions will still appear in the Transaction Activity of a Report, they will not be included in the calculations. You can determine which transactions are ignored by the ignored icon (an eyeball with a line through it). This makes it super easy to change the ignore status of any transaction from the Report directly. More details on this can be found here.
I hope this helps!

Thanks for the additional background - this makes sense - although I’d suggest a change to something like “ignore in report calculations” instead of “ignore in reports” to be more clear about what the toggle is doing.0

Hello @bmeyers,
No problem, and thanks for the additional feedback!
If you'd like to suggest using “ignore in report calculations” instead, you'll want to go ahead and create an Idea post outlining your request so that other users can vote on it and our Product Team can review it.
