Historical Balance Import not working for loans

For loans that track balance only, like other loan accounts, the import wizard does not allow to import balances to it. This occurs even if the wizard is launched from another account. I have a paid off loan at Marcus that I wanted to load history to.

Marcus Personal Loan does not appear on the list of accounts available.

To import the history, I created a manual account: Marcus Personal Loan Hist and made the type other credit. I imported the historical loan balances to this new manual account without issue.

Hope this post helps someone. I am satisfied with my workaround as I paid off the loan last year. I do not have a connected loan account to track.
