Investment balance always shows yesterday's balance in the Accounts List (edited)
On the main dashboard, it always shows the balance from yesterday, even though it is already updated on the 'Balances' tab within the account page, with the balance from today.
This issue occurs with the manual account (I had to switch to manual account due to a TIAA connectivity issue. Please solve this issue! It has been more than a month!), but I recall it also happening when the account was still connected)

Hello @hj2438,
Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. When you see the balance from yesterday, is the date also reflecting yesterday's date, or is it showing today, but with an outdated balance? Is this happening with all investment accounts, or just one? Does it make any difference what time of day you view it in Quicken Simplifi (for example, outdated balance in the morning, but correct in the evening)?
I look forward to your response!

It now looks okay. It does not happen all the time, but it happens quite often.
It does not seems that it is different depending on the time of day. It looks random to me.It happens with Index fund type holidngs, which the price is only updated once in a day.
It may be related.
What happens very often is:
Main dashboard = Yesterday's price and balance. There is no date in the main dashboard. (I refreshed multiple times)
Go to Investment account = Today's price and balance. Today's date.
SInce I have only one account that can check this at this point, I don't know whether it happens in all else.0 -
Hello @hj2438,
Thanks for the reply. The balance shown for connected investment accounts in the Account List is provided by your financial institution and may vary based on when the account was last refreshed and when share prices are updated. In contrast, the balance in the Investments tab reflects the market value of your holdings using the most recent share price data.
The balance for manual investment accounts like yours in the Account List is updated during nightly aggregation. In contrast, the Investments tab displays the real-time balance of your manual investment account.
I am glad that you are reporting that it is showing as okay now. This seems like it may be intended behavior, though. I hope this information helps!

It happens again. The account balance at the main dashboard shows the balance of the yesterday, but the investments tap shows the correct balance as of today.
I don't understand why the app intend this :
The balance for
manual investment accountslike yours in the Account List is updated during nightly aggregation. In contrast, the Investments tab displays the real-time balance of your manual investment account. The app already has "correct balance" as of today in the investiments tab, but choose to display the wrong balance of yesterday at the main dashboard? What is the point of intentionally displaying outdated numbers to your customers?

Hello @hj2438,
I can certainly understand your frustration. The way investment balances are calculated in Quicken Simplifi is the current design, but we do have an idea post that you can vote for and add your feedback to here, which requests that investment balances be consistent across the application:
I hope this helps!
