Transfer bills and income transactions show up twice in the reminder
Why do transfer transactions (e.g. payment from Checking to Visa) show up twice; once from Checking and another to Visa. Seems redundant to me.
Is there a way to disable that.
Alternatively, is there a way to limit the the Bill & Income reminder section in the dashboard to the "from" accounts

It sounds like you are using a Linked Transfer, which means there is a sending side and a receiving side in Quicken Simplifi. To accurately track the anticipated transactions that will occur in each account, Quicken Simplifi will also create Reminders for each account.
If you don't want this type of setup, you'd need to "unlink" the Recurring Transfer by using a non-Linked Transfer Category. For example, if the Recurring Transfer is for a credit card payment, you can use the 'Credit Card Payment' Category rather than using the other account for the Category.

As for the Bills & Income Dashboard tile, it looks like this shows the Category used for the Series, versus the Account used. This information is presented in the same way in the Bills & Income section. This causes the same type of confusion in the Spending Plan, as discussed by other users here:
