Why is the transaction categorization so... bad?
I've been using Simplifi for a couple of years now and it seems that the product categorization has not improved. Case in point - buying plane tickets, Simplifi thought were cups of coffee -

Honestly the errors are so frequent I wish the software did not rename the Payees for me at all.

Thanks. I weighed in on DavidB's request.
I just hope that the Dev team is aware that the categorization is broken. Who knows, perhaps it's as simple as one broken look-up somewhere…

Is there an option for not having Simplifi rename the Payee? I prefer what comes from in on the transaction. The description from the transaction is more complete and provides more details so that I can create a mapping rule to marry it to the right category. I don't want the Payee renamed by Simplifi. Does anyone know if this happens in Monarch Money?
