Connected account balances not updating with pending transactions (edited)

I am willing to bet this is going to take a while to fix. I will say that Simplifi is trying to run more features and do more stuff than any other finance app out there, and they're doing it on a web-based platform. Apps as feature-heavy as this are often desktop-based and are way easier to keep running. I'm no software engineer, but I am willing to bet they are maxing out their servers right now. Pure speculation, but I'm guessing they changed the way our transaction entries talk to the servers in an attempt to reduce server traffic, which could be why we are seeing the delays. And now they are probably having to figure out a different way to attack the problem, which is why we aren't seeing any fixes or update messages from support. They will probably have to spend some cash on some capacity upgrades before it's over with, which means we might see a price hike fairly soon.
Personally I'd pay $125 a year happily if it meant they could upgrade their servers and the software worked consistently well all the time with no more product-breakers like this issue. Several other budget apps/spending trackers charge that much and they don't do half the things Simplifi does, in my opinion.

As of now buddy... There's no actual updates or info on what's going on.
We all just talking to each other.
Although, quicken is a big company and we've all assumed that for such a major issue, there will be constant, daily updates.
But no, we test, we try, and no visible, working changes

FWIW, today was payday, and I was able to do my bills without issue. It seems fixed.

The scenario I'm seeing is similar.
1. Enter a few transactions manually - set to pending2. those transactions clear the bank account
3. Quicken updates the balance but doesn't get the transactions so things get double-counted
4. This triggers a negative balance alert which shows as negative on the website (in red text) but positive in the alert email. That is, Simplifi thinks I'm overdrawn when I'm not, but the email and website don't agree.
Solution is to hunt through bank account to see what cleared, then mark those transactions as cleared which fixes the balance. But that's the kind of manual labor I pay Simplify to do for me (p.s. my limit on fixing autocorrect for "simplify" is 3 attempts)

I have two accounts that do this updating the balance before downloading the cleared transactions. Capital One Checking and (from time to time) Chase Amazon Visa. I don't think it's Simplifi's fault. The bank just doesn't make the cleared transactions available for download in a timely manner.
I do the same workaround as you and I clear the ones that have cleared or I wait until the next download when the cleared transactions do download.
But this is not the same issue in this conversation, which has to do with adding a manual transaction and Simplifi's taking time to update the balance, which should update instantly.
BTW, I haven't wanted to say anything, but I haven't noticed this lag happening in the past week, but I do not think we've been officially notified that it was fixed.
