Updating transactions re-expands the pending section (edited)
When I’m balancing my accounts and reviewing charges, I usually filter out reviewed items and collapse pending charges so I can focus on what’s current. The problem is that after I save an update on a charge, everything resets. The pending charges expand again, and if I’m not paying close attention, I end up reviewing items that I actually want to leave unreviewed until they fully process.
It would be really helpful if there were a way to keep pending charges collapsed by default. I still want easy access to them when needed, but I don’t need them taking over the screen every time I make an update.

I'm not able to reproduce this issue myself. I've tried editing a transaction both inline and from the Transaction Detail view with the 'Pending' section collapsed, and it stayed collapsed in both scenarios. I also tried with no filters, category filters, and the reviewed/not reviewed filters, and the section still stayed collapsed when editing transactions.
With that, I think we will need more info from you. What exact steps are you taking in Quicken Simplifi to reproduce the behavior you described? We will need details, such as which specific filters are applied, how you are editing the transactions, and the types of edits you're making.

@Coach Natalie here's how I can reproduce it:
Filter transactions by Not Reviewed.
Minimize the Pending section.
Select multiple transactions.
Click the Reviewed checkbox at the top.
Watch the Pending section re-expand.

Since I don't see anything from the original poster indicating they are bulk-marking transactions as reviewed, we will wait to hear back from them to confirm the behavior they're reporting.
As for discussing related topics prior, the only thread I'm finding is this one, in which case our product team already confirmed they are working on the behavior reported there:

I've also noticed that modifying the filters re-expands the Pending section, which is another annoying thing for me.
