Duplicate transactions suddenly appeared (edited)

Hi,

In my spending plan, I'm seeing each transaction listed 2x. Seems to be in all categorires.

I cleared my browser cache, but seeing it on my phone and PC too.

    This just happened to me too across all my accounts for the past month. Created a giant mess that I had to clean up. In my case, it was in my transaction ledger (but I assume also in spending plan)

    Right- June (so far) seems OK. I don't see this issue in April either.

  • I am seeing duplicates on basically all of my transactions across most of my accounts. This is a widespread issue.

    I had balanced my budget at the end of May, categorized everything and made sure everything was according to my liking.

    On June 2 I noticed that all of my budgets look funny and out of balance. I went back to May and it shows the month of May having almost every transaction mis-categorized, as if a script decided it. For example, a transaction for a restaurant called “Hummer” that had a personal custom category assigned to it now says “Car payment” !

    The software and its budgeting mechanism are completely unusable now, as it’s impossible to trust how much money is in each budget.


    This should be treated as a high severity problem. (I’m assuming I’m not the only one)

    Duplicate transactions showing up for May and June for mine too (Chase Bank). Had the same issue last month for March and April transactions before that one was fixed. Are we going to have this issue for every month?

    I'm having the same problem back to the beginning of May. Lots of duplicates, lots of previously reviewed transactions being rolled back, etc. I'm seeing it a lot with Chase but also American Express and others.

    Are your transactions duplicated? Many people noticed all of may to be duplicated and in my case, it also categorized them from scratch.

    I'm seeing this too across all bank and credit card accounts. Not there this morning. Weird thing is I am also seeing in Quicken Classic Business + Personal. I just did a sync in that software and duplicate transactions for every bank/credit card account came in starting on 5/4/2026.

    Same here. I'm seeing it for May and some for June also. Seems like had something like this happen last month. Please clean this mess up!!

    You are right, when I sampled them they’re duplicated. Hopefully that means the manual work is not lost.

    The issues in April and now May are making the product completely unusable. I cannot run a budget through a platform that tells me I overspent by thousands of dollars every month.

    Dups seem to have disappeared as of today evening. Thanks clean up crew.

    May seems to have cleaned up, now June has duplicates. Seriously, what’s the use of this product? 3 months of failure to perform and not even the courtesy to put a pop up as soon as the problem is identified so people don’t spend hours trying to manually correct on their own is crazy for a paid product.

    @aariana @& @Mysha16, can you please let us know if the duplicates you're seeing in June may have been pending yesterday? We are wondering if they were maybe stuck in some sort of limbo state being pending, so the fix didn't apply to them.

    Still an issue for my Fidelity Cash Management Account for June transactions.

    Yes they may have been pending, these are mostly June 1 or 2 transactions. I do see duplicate instances both in pending and cleared state. And not every transaction has a duplicate in June.

    I see a few duplicates from June 2 that were false positives (actual real duplicate purchases) but I have at least one true positive transaction duplication - a recurring bill associated with one of the transactions, and its duplicate tx not attached to anything. It’s a monthly bill and I’ve checked my bank, there’s only one Tx. If that’s the only one it may be that getting associated with a recurring expense could have made it appear not duplicate enough during the deduplication clean up? Just a theory.

    This sounds like a different issue than the duplicate transactions that were occurring when this thread started. If you want to do some troubleshooting, I'd recommend creating a new post to outline the issue in more detail there:

    Otherwise, if u see just one transaction, I'd recommend deleting it. If no further duplicate transactions are suddenly appearing, I'd say the issue in this thread is resolved for you.
