Re: Disable 1Password autofill for transaction categories
I also use 1Password, first thing to note is.. why are you associating all your account passwords to Quicken Simplifi? There's really no need for that.
To disable the autofill.. you've got a couple options. On newer versions of the browser extension, you should be able to simply hide the list using the arrow on the 1Password icon located inside the field.
To completely disable autofill, follow the instructions here:
Ability to add logos/icons to Payees and Recurring Transactions (edited)
Hi,
it would be great to have the ability the add icons to payees as well as all recurring. Especially in the recurring you have a big area for the initials. It would be great to have icons added automatically or manually. In the list of transactions it would make it easier to spot specific merchants as well
Thanks for considering
Stop Savings Goals from counting in the Spending Plan upon expected completion (edited)
Savings goals keep carrying on indefinitely until the goal amount is met in the current month (Nov). I have a goal which will be completed in Dec but still being deducted from my spending plan for Jan, Feb, etc. This means that I cannot budget my expenses more than 1 month ahead. Added an end date would solve this problem.
Re: Accounts not refreshing on Finicity (edited)
Adding my voice to the frustrations of the commenters above. Have followed all the steps, sent examples from one account (out of 20+ accounts having this issue) and was told to send screenshots of ALL of them. This is just completely unacceptable. At this point your team should just assume that anyone who was assigned to Finicity is not getting updated and is getting increasingly annoyed and ready to jump ship….
Ability to jump to a specific month in the Spending Plan using a date picker (edited)
Currently to scroll to past and future spending plans, one must scroll using the arrows on the top of the spending plan.
Web app (The mobile app has a similar menu)
Can we in addition have an option to jump to a specific month by using a month and year picker? Some users have been using Simplifi since 2021 or earlier and pushing the arrows to move back to look at history is time consuming.
Per the comment below, the spending plans will go back until the date the Simplifi subscription started.
Thanks for considering! ☺️👍️
Re: Cannot connect to Morgan Stanley stock plan connect (error FDP-196)
Also a Mint migrating user and also an SDE. This issue is being handled in a terrible way by both customer support and the eng team.
You are asking the customer to be the middle man between you and the Morgan Stanley dev team to solve the issue. How is that helpful? If you already know from your engineering deep dive this is an issue with their API, why wouldn't you reach out to their dev team to push them to fix it?
On top of this, you had some kind enough customers that went out of their way to call Morgan Stanley and report a dev issue. They have been ignored, and your suggestion is to keep calling?
Also, why would the eng team at quicken need to wait for a Morgan Stanley ticket open by a customer to take action? If they refuse to listen to you, your job is to escalate with them, not tell customers to keep calling Morgan Stanley.
I have been on teams were the dynamics between customer support, eng, and customers is similar to this one. I hope management intervenes, cause this is how you lose customer trust very quickly.
Re: Cannot connect to Morgan Stanley stock plan connect (error FDP-196)
I'm a software engineer. Natalie, thank you for staying engaged with your customers. SWEs are notorious for not listening to their customers and waiting for the house to burn down before taking action. I'd urge you to tell them this needs to get fixed based on the numbers impacted from this post alone.
I JUST signed up for Simplifi, moving from Mint. I'm happy to switch at this point and get a refund if this is the sort of service your eng team provides for an issue that is clearly a problem on the Quicken side.
I'll try to call again tomorrow, but I already mentioned the status code and the support person clearly had no idea what to do with it, even with ALL of the context I gave her.
Add an HSA Investment account type (edited)
Make the Accounts List easier to read (edited)
I'm a new user and I find the Accounts column very hard to read.
- The lines are so close together and each section is differentiated by a "slightly" larger font. It's hard to tell each section apart or find the totals for each category (Cash, Credit, Assets etc)
- It's hard to read which balance applies to which account due to how close each line is.
- Having the banks icon next to the name would make it much easier to identify accounts quickly
Sorting appears to be alphabetical instead of by balance so I have accounts with $0 balance showing at the top making it harder to find the info for accounts that actually have a balance. Sort by balance and/or hide accounts with $0 balanceSavings, for some reason, isn't included under Cash so I have to manually add up what's in checking and savings to see how much cash I have. Total cash should be right under net worth as it's a critical metric for a personal finance app. "Banking" total (cash - credit debt) isn't helpful to me, I would rather see my total cash on hand (cash + checking + savings)Allow users to change the order of each group in the Accounts column. I want to move the Liabilities section higher up the list
Re: Add the ability to hide *ANY* account
Agreed. I would also like the ability to hide certain open accounts that I want to keep in the system, but don't wish to see them cluttering up my sidebar.
I have various store cards (Home Depot, Best Buy, etc) that I keep open just in case I want to take advantage of promotions they run for card holders at times, but generally speaking these account are basically unused. I can unhide them if they come back into use and that would be fine.
I would also be ok with the option to simply "Hide accounts with zero balance" to achieve my same goal
