Trying to login to Raymond James returns a multi-authentication error (Care Code: FDP-187)

Have tried over several months to login to Raymond James but it keeps returning a multi-authentication error. "A multi-factor authentication is required to connect to your account at Raymond James & Associates. Care Code: FDP-187"
Searched the community posts and found these relevant threads:
I tried everything listed here but still doesn't work. I made them manual accounts and tried to re-add, but I can't log in to RJ since I get the authentication error. I verified I can login to their website directly, I changed my password/credentials, etc…

Hello @MJSJ,
I'm sorry to hear you're encountering this issue. To help troubleshoot this, please provide more information. Is Quicken Simplifi asking you to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA)? Are you receiving the code? What method are you using (SMS, call, etc.)? Based on your description, it sounds like the accounts were previously connected. Do you recall when the problem first started?
I look forward to your reply!

It's working now. I don't know why, maybe there just needed a bit of time to pass after I made the account manual and tried to re-add and link them.
Ultimately the 2 major things I did among a bunch of verification steps were:
- Moved my Raymond James accounts to manual.
- Changed my credentials at Raymond James.
- Waited some period of time to re-add Raymond James and linked the manual accounts. When I originally tried to re-add Raymond James, it continued to give me a multi-factor authentication error, but then after some time (days probably before I had time to get back to it), this eventually worked.
