Forecast Spending Plan Categories and the Grand Totals [Edited]

I'm quite fond of Simplifi (it's replaced complicated spreadsheets), but there's no way to forecast (or project into the future) Spending Plan totals for the year. It would be a very nice feature and relatively easy to expand the reporting feature to include spending plan category reporting into the future. This would eliminate yet another spreadsheet
Eg

January Gifts: 200

February Holiday: 200

March Gifts: 200

July Vacation: 1000

September Holiday: 200

November Gifts: 200

December Vacation: 1000

So, totals for the year would be:

Gift: 600

Holiday: 400

Vacation: 2000

Grand Total: 3000

I went ahead and moved this out of Feature Requests for now, as I believe we have a couple of existing requests that may meet your needs instead. One is for the ability to track trends, forecast, and use "what if" scenarios. The other is for the ability to enter the Spending Plan in a table view, which would give a 12-month view all in one, with totals. If these work for you, please be sure to add your vote and feedback, and then follow them for updates!
