Persistent 324 error with Fidelity (edited)

I still have the installation floppy disks for MYM, both Versions 8 and 9.
I also still have MYM for Windows (version 2) and hated it so much I switched to Quicken. The Andrew Tobias website says that he still uses MYM for DOS. https://andrewtobias.com/managing-your-money/
I remember something like Dollars and Cents, but I don't remember details, but I compared several software packages before buying the best at the time, Quicken. (Microsoft Money was a close second IMHO.)

Hello @FBOL,
Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. Do you see any error message/code when 3/5 of the accounts fail? Is it always the same accounts that fail, or is it different ones each time? Are the accounts that keep failing IRAs? If so, then that issue is being discussed in this thread:
I look forward to your response!

Care: 324. I have five Fidelity accounts. Three IRAs and two brokerage accounts. Sometimes three don't connect and sometimes two don't connect. It is usually two IRAs and one brokerage account. At the moment it is two Managed accounts that aren't connecting. One is a Rollover IRA and the other is a Brokerage account. But it isn't always just the two Managed accounts.

Thank you for your reply,
Since this sounds like the same issue you posted about a few days ago, I merged the discussion with that earlier one.
If you haven't already done so, please provide the information requested in Coach Natalie's earlier post:
Thank you!

I use the Web app on Windows and MacOS and the phone app on Android and iOS. The problems occur on all platforms.

How do I securely submit multiple screenshots?

Care: 324. I'm also having this issue, across two different user accounts. Brokerage, Rollover IRA, and Roth IRA all broken. The HSA accounts don't appear to be an issue. I've disconnected through Fidelity and have attempted to re-auth through Quicken with no luck.

Same problem. Losing connection to Fidelity brockerage account for about a month now. It used to work fine.

I submitted Feedback and sent screenshots as requested.

Natalie, when you say the issue's been escalated, what does that mean? Where, and with whom? And when can we expect to see a solution? This thread ought to be evidence enough that this is a problem for a number of users. Thanks.

I have followed the resolutions steps and also submitted feedback. This issue has been persistent for about a week and is extremely frustrating. It's only affecting fidelity and has been impacting various brokerage and Roth IRA accounts.

I hate to be a "me too" poster, but…. me too.

Why is this thread Closed? Why isn't this issue appearing in the Known Issues forum?

this is still an issue, unchanged since i first posted.

Note that this issue appears to be limited to the Quicken Fidelity Inv & Retirement connection. I'm not presently having this problem with the Finicity Fidelity Investments connection.

Same problem here. Re-connected yesterday, and it was fine for one day, but it's broken again today.
Why do I bother with Simplifi anymore?

If the issue persists or re-occurs after doing so, please share the information requested here:
There is also a Finicity option for Fidelity listed as "Fidelity Investments" in Quicken Simplifi. If you'd all like to give this connection a try and let us know how it goes, that would be helpful as well.
Thank you!

I am unable to connect/sync/update to Fidelity Investments & Retirement. I have been able to connect to Fidelity for a long time, just recently (beginning of July) unable to connect/sync to Fidelity. I am able to enter my credentials in Simplifi, to reconnect. Credentials accepted, I approve via my Fidelity App that I am requesting access, all seems good. However, after a short time, fails with Care Code: 324 I am able to log into Fidelity Investments via a web browser.

Just for kicks, I separated my Fidelity accounts across 2 sets of Fidelity login credentials. Cash management, brokerage and 401k accounts remain connected to Quicken Simplifi through my spouse’s login using the original Fidelity Investments & Retirement connect option . I moved the IRA to a separate Fidelity Investments & Retirement connection using my Fidelity login credentials.
My intent was to test whether the IRA was the offender in my case, and that proved to be true for my accounts. The IRA continued to lose its connection and required a connection reset at least daily whilst the other accounts refreshed normally.
Finally, I changed the IRA connection to the Finicity option suggested above (following the steps … remove access at Fidelity, make the account manual in Simplifi, add account workflow using Finicity option. The other accounts continue to connect and refresh as usual, and now the IRA appears to be maintaining its connection using the Finicity option.
However, I do notice a discrepancy in the IRA balances displayed between the account list view and the account detail holdings view. Perhaps one is displaying a refreshed balance whilst the other displays prior day ending balance? Unclear … and changing the display option between bank balance and bank balance with pending does not affect the display variance.
Regardless … so far, so good with the Finicity connection for the IRA, but we’ll see … I’ll post an update if the connection drops again.

I have the same problem. I have 9 fidelity accounts within the same login. 8 of them are working normal, but my main brokerage account is stuck in the Care code: 324 cycle for the past few days.

The Finicity connection appears to be more stable for me; it has stayed up through about a day's worth of scheduled refreshes. So: So far so good. But there's something weird going on with the amounts reflected in Simplifi: My four Fidelity accounts total out to one amount under the All Accounts tab, and a different amount under the Investments tab. And neither of these matches up exactly with the current summary value shown at Fidelity.com. This may be related to Simplifi refresh intervals not keeping up with intraday trading, but that's just a guess on my part. Can anybody confirm (or knock down) this theory?

All fidelity accounts went back to code: 324 error today. The non ira had worked for a couple of days.

Happy to report the finicity connection is working well for me.

Glad to report that the Finicity connection has worked for 2 days now for my IRA (I kept other Fidelity accounts on the Fidelity Investments & Retirement connection). However, like @Bill Barol reported, my investment accounts under both connections report different balances between the All Accounts view and the Investments view.
