Being the first of the month and also dealing with a new printer and its issues, I still managed to try the new Comparison Reports in Early Access.

I compared this months Income & Spending with the previous month (using Previous Period) and it worked like a charm, and I exported the PDF and sent to my wife.

And lo and behold, she actually asked questions about it. She usually has nothing to say but now wanted to know why this category was higher this month and others were lower. LOL.

That makes the new feature worth while for me!

Love it but there js a bug in prior year comparison - its comparing most recent 90 days in 2026 with the previous 90 days in 2025, The same thing does NOT happen if I chose a standard date range such as last month, last quarter

Now that I have found the official feedback for the Comparison Reports, I will say, and this is probably a contrarian view, that it does steal some thunder from the Spending dashboard.

The fact is that for me (right now), Reports are less buggy than Spending Dashboard, and you can print them.

I do like the Sankey graph in Spending Dashboard, but it could be incorporated in Reports?

Just saying that I wouldn't mind hiding or getting rid of the Spending Dashboard altogether.

I noticed this too. If I click on prior period to compare a quarter against a prior quarter, the view is correct.

I love the comparison reports. These existed in defunct Mint; I am excited to have them in Simplifi.
