Mobile App: Ability to add PDF attachments (edited)

Please provide an update on when PDF attachments will be an option in the Simplifi iOS app. The Quicken iOS app now supports PDF attachments. The Simplifi web app supports PDF attachments. However, you can not view them in the iOS app. That makes no sense. 
This is 2021, most purchases made online send electronic receipts.

    I didn't find an existing request for PDF attachments on the Simplifi Mobile App, so I went ahead and turned this into an Idea post requesting this ability so that other Users can add their votes and our Product Team can review it. Please be sure to add your vote as well! :smile:

    Would love this too. Images and PDF should cover most use cases for receipt storage formats.

    Yes, would love to see this feature as well.  Bonus points for including capability to create and upload a multi-page PDF attachment.

    Yes. Please add the ability to upload AND view pdfs on both mobile and web app. Being able to upload but not view pdfs is totally useless. And only being able to upload pictures and not pdfs on the mobile app is also useless. I use Google Drive to scan all my receipts, and they all are saved as pdfs and not images.

    Upvoted this as well. I'm just starting to use the Android mobile app and would love to use PDF receipts.

    Also, just discovered that the mobile app cannot even view a PDF uploaded by the web. It was very confusing for a moment and more than a little cumbersome when I was trying to check the receipt to find out if the expense should be split.

    For clarification, what do we mean by "add PDF as an attachment"? I would like for Simplifi to have the ability to read credit card transaction PDFs (where the ever helpful CSVs are not available). Is that covered under this idea?

    @sacrophyte I think this idea post is simpler than that. Right now you can store a picture of a receipt and retrieve it/view it i believe - this idea seems to be to allow pdf receipts to be saved and retrieved. As per reading them, that might be a separate idea, if I understand right, which you may or may not have to start fresh. I cannot find the document on how to submit idea posts, but it;'s just like posting a new message, but you select "new idea". I had already voted for this one sometime back, maybe i'd vote for yours too.

    Currently i have to use Quicken Classic and Quicken Simplifi. Quicken classic because I can upload receipts that are 80% PDF and 20% paper with camera. I am not always around a computer to upload and it is a pain doing it in browser on phone, hence not simplifying. If you did it in Quicken classic why not simplifi? It's frustrating to have both programs and keeping up with both books. Please add PDF receipts upload to simplifi mobile.

    Currently on the mobile iOS app, attachment options are limited to photo library or new photo, but I would like the ability to attach pdf receipts stores in files on iCloud.

    I would like the ability to attach PDF’s as attachments/receipts for transactions in Simplify. Quicken offers this functionality, so please add to Simplifi mobile app.

    Just reiterating what everyone is saying in this post, but it would definitely would be a huge help if iOS users could upload documents from the "Share Sheet" (i.e. PDF from sources such as Files or OneDrive). Having to switch to PC to add receipts to my business expense items (or converting them to photo / screenshot) is a pain.
