Ability to sort or rearrange Planned Spending/Spending Plan items (edited)

I'd like this a lot! And I would also like if there were a few "size options" to choose from for the Spending Plan tiles.

Users should be able to sort spending plan items (expenses) by various methods:
For example:
Sort by alphabetical order.
Sort by Planned Spending Amount. High to Low OR Low to High
Possibly Sort by Priority (User chosen order). There should also be an option to move completed expense items to the bottom, leaving the expenses with remaining available money at the top.

Clearly the consumers are clamoring for this ability! The inability to organize the spending plan the way I want it is massively frustrating. At this point I may try renaming my categories with numbers to see if I can force it into the order I want. Has anybody else tried this?

For anyone looking to change the display order of Planned Spending, vote above!
For anyone looking to change the sort order of Watchlists on the MobileApp, make sure to vote for the Idea Post below.Currently, while Watchlists are not exactly random, they’re not in any useful order. They are displayed in date order created, which is exceedingly unuseful.

I'm guessing you are referring specifically to Planned Spending category arrangement.
My Planned Spending cats are sorted alphabetically which is fine for me. If I wanted a different arrangement, until user customization is implemented, I would add a letter to the beginning each cat title. For example, if I wanted my Housing Upkeep cat to appear at the top of the list, I would rename it A-Housing Upkeep and then in descending order at B, C, D, E… for any other cats I want to see in a particular order. I suppose using numbers could accomplish the same goal.
I use the alphabet scheme for my Watchlists where I monitor all my top level or parent categories.

I agree a way to organize categories into subcategories or at least in the order I want to view them on the page is needed. I have side stepped the issue by adding numbers before the category names to group the categories I want together and in the order I want.

Sorting by 'Name' or by 'Amount' has been added to Planned Spending! Check out the new Spending Plan enhancements in our announcement:

Sorting Planned Spending Items:
If you added expense items to your Planned Spending some time ago you may have just selected a Category and left the optional expense name blank. If so, those expenses may not sort correctly by name.
To fix it, just edit the expense, type in the name, and hit Update. Now the sorting should work. (Newly created expenses will fix this for you from now on.)
