2FA Required to Sync Bank Account
I found this closed thread related to my situation. I had contacted support directly and they insisted, as does this thread, that the 2FA is controlled by the bank and Simplifi has no control over the situation. However, since I don't have the problem with [removed], I reached out to the bank. The bank had a different perspective, indicating that the problem is that Simplifi does not provide the ability to save as a trusted app which would avoid repeated 2FA requests. They also indicated that [removed] does have this ability which is why the functionality differs. I would have stuck with Simplifi if it weren't for the 2FA problem, but I can't justify having to go through that every day just to see my updated budget actuals. It seems Simplifi staff's approach to just redirect back to the bank isn't helping resolve the problem. It seems to me, that it would be more helpful for Simplifi to own the issue and provide transparency regarding a potential fix.

@6Kings, thanks for sharing your feedback with the Community!
Unfortunately, we do not have any control over the various MFA prompts made by your banks. However, there is hopefully an end in sight for the persistent prompts with Navy FCU, as we will be migrating to their OAuth API in the next few months. You can follow along here for progress updates on that connection:
We hope to see you back around!

You do have control over it. You can change the way you program your APIs. Looks like you're on the right track.
