Ability to Link to a transaction when using Withdrawal from savings goal?
Hello all. Happy New Year and here's to seeing YTD balances snap back to zero.
Wondering if it would be useful to be able to link a transaction when withdrawing from a savings goal? As we progress through the year, would it be helpful to you to see how you've used your savings goal dollars? I have several sinking funds that I have an associated savings goal. I think I'd like to be able to link a specific spend to a withdrawal.
Right now, savings goals are just a way to earmark dollars in an account, which by the way is helpful. But when I withdraw from the goal (or un-earmark), I'd like an option to reference to what it was for, even a note field would be great. If you've ever called your broker and needed funds, he'll ask "just for our records, what will this be used for?

Transactions do not link to savings goals, per this article.
There is an existing feature request to link transactions to saving goals withdrawals below. Vote for it.
