I cannot enter the holdings as short sale is a negative number. On the brokerage website short sale show up as negative quantity and the value shows up as negative. So if I have 4 options (equivalent to 400 shares) and the price is 10 dollars each, it shows on website as -4 options with a -4000 value which when added to other reduces the total value.

So for short positions for options, two things need to happen in the Simplifi software.

    1. Ability to add short (negative positions)
    2. Ability to update option prices similar to other regualr stocks/etfs.

    Thanks

Thank you for your reply @simplira,

Since you are asking for something that is not currently supported in Quicken Simplifi, I converted your post into an Idea post. Ideas that get enough votes may be implemented in the future.

    Thank you!

@Coach Kristina Any update on this? Would like to be able to track value of some options net of strike price, but there's nowhere to enter strike price of my options.

@Coach Kristina Doesn't seem to let me vote - does this need to be moved to product feature requests?
