Savings Goals - Contribution amount incorrect (edited)
Hi,
How do you handle errors in the Savings Plan? I have accidentally contributed too much for the month, only to want to set the proper amount.
When I go to the Savings Goal it shows I've contributed a total of say $1,950, but it should only be $1,800.
How can I set the total amount saved for the goal to the correct value?
Screenshot for context. The $1,949.84 should be $1,800 total saved.

You can make a withdrawal from the Savings Goal "for another purpose." This will remove that amount from the goal, without having marked it as spent for the goal itself.

One more question here. How do you modify the amount spent? I must have accidentally done the same withdrawal twice.

You can't modify the amount spent, unfortunately. You can only contribute to the goal again, or delete and recreate it. There is a thread here about having a SG account register so you could track in this sort of detail and make appropriate edits. Feel free to vote for it.
