Reports for Taxes (edited)
If there are no reports easily utilized for tax preparation, can Simplifi money app be easily transferred into the Quickbooks app or another app. I have 3 months of data I just put in and would like it used for tax preparation also. Simplify money is easy to use and I like the ease of downloading bank and financials into it. But I’m doing it to make my efforts easy at tax time also.

I use tags as a way to prep for tax season. For example, create a “tax” tag and add it to taxable transactions like property taxes. Or you could go even deeper and create Sched A tag, B tag, etc. (assuming you want to spend the time identifying which transactions fit into each schedule). Actually that might be a useful added feature. Like Quicken classic, you can identify different categories according to tax schedule (so you are tagging the entire category instead of having to tag each applicable transaction). Then at year end, like Quicken classic, you can generate a tax report.
