New Feature Alert: Amount Matching, Check Number Field, and Date Commands!
Hello Quicken Simplifi users! We are excited to announce some new features for Quicken Simplifi that are currently available in Early Access. To learn how to enable Early Access, click here!
First, we have a new Amount Matching feature for Recurring Transactions that will allow you to set certain criteria for Quicken Simplifi to use when matching the reminders to your transactions. We are hoping that this will help improve the matching abilities in Quicken Simplifi and allow our users more control over this! This feature is available on both the Web and Mobile Apps as of versions 4.14.0 and 5.7.0. You can learn all about Amount Matching for Recurring Transactions in our support article here!
Next, we have added a Check # field for transactions! You'll see this field in the Transaction Detail view on both the Web and Mobile Apps as of versions 4.14.0 and 5.7.0, and the Web App will also have a Check # column that can be added to your register! Although Quicken Simplifi won't aggregate check numbers from your bank, this field can be used to manually track check numbers and many other types of payments, such as "ACH" and "Auto Pay".
And last but not least, we have added Date Commands to the date picker calendars on the Web App! This will allow you to highlight the date and use keyboard shortcuts like "t" to default to today or "+" and "-" to move the date in increments. This applies to anywhere you see a 'Date' field on the Web App where you can manually type in the date, such as the Transaction Detail view and Reports.
